Stephen Murray to attend Kennedy-Krieger Working 2 Walk Event

BMX Gold Medalist Stephen Murray will be meeting with counselors, doctors and persons with spinal cord injuries at the 7th annual ‘Working 2 Walk�?event in Irvine, CA on Nov. 1 to raise awareness about SCI and emerging treatment options.

The event, sponsored by Kennedy-Krieger, one of the foremost spinal cord injury research and treatment centers in the world, seeks to cure paralysis through advocacy, education and support for research. Stephen will discuss the vision of the ARF in aiding other impaired athletes, his experiences with SCI and the tools that have helped in his recovery, including his Tobii PCEye, an eye tracking assistive device that allows him to surf the web, connect with family via Skype and even stay in touch with fans on Facebook.
